Ryan brings over a decade of civil litigation experience to Sweeny, Wingate and Barrow. Ryan focuses his practice on defense of large loss and complex matters, including trucking and construction defect claims.  Ryan also has extensive experience in providing general advice, drafting and litigation services to developers and contractors in land development and contract related matters.  Ryan has also represented clients before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.  Ryan is a graduate of Clemson University and University of South Carolina School of Law where he competed with the school’s Moot Court Bar.

Ryan is a native of the midlands of South Carolina and he and his wife, Kate, are kept busy with their four boys.
