Sweeny, Wingate & Barrow, P.A. is excited to announce that Meredith Brenton has joined the firm’s Columbia office as an associate.
Brenton’s practice focuses on general insurance and civil defense. She joins the firm following a clerkship with the Honorable James E. Lockemy, Chief Judge South Carolina Court of Appeals.
Brenton received her J.D. from the Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2018, where she served as Vice Chair of the Moot Court Board and as a student attorney in the Community Legal Practice Center. Brenton graduated cum laude from Furman University with a B.A. in Political Science, with a concentration in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies.
