Jake joined the firm upon graduating cum laude from the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law. His practice primarily focuses on retail and premises liability and commercial trucking litigation.

Jake was born and raised in Greeneville, Tennessee. He attended the University of Tennessee where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While in law school, Jake served on the editorial board of the South Carolina Law Review, and he worked as a law clerk with SWB for over two years during that time.
